Plant Based Poke Bowl
I arrived home to this incredible treat one evening, and Julia (my wife and one of the partners at Nosh) was gitty with excitement about her creation and for good reason. Poke bowls are a delicious healthy treat on their own, but remove the spicy mayo, insert spicy cheddah NuNosh, swap the crab for hearts of palm (if you are fully vegan/plant-based) and an even healthier equally delicious poke bowl is born!Â

“Crab” mix
- 1 can hearts of palm, shredded with a fork
- 1.5 tablespoons NuNosh spicy cheddah
- 1 teaspoon old bay
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- Drizzle with sriracha to taste (if you want it spicier)
- For the bowl
- 1 package sticky rice (tasty bite organic)
- 1 small cucumber medium dice
- 1 cup shelled edamameÂ
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple
- Pickled ginger to taste
- Furikake Japanese rice seasoning to taste
