Caprese Pasta
A creamy delicious pasta is something everyone can appreciate, but walking away from the table feeling stuffed or even guilty about eating such a decadent delight can really put a damper on things…. NuNosh caprese to the rescue!
Reminiscent of a creamy vodka sauce with basil and sun-dried tomatoes, blending our caprese cashew spread into your favorite noodle is so simple AND you get to have creamy pasta that is actually good for you!
Read that again. It’s so easy we can’t wait for everyone to try this. Simply boil your favorite noodle, we used cavatapi, until al dente and strain reserving the starchy water. Place your cooked noodles in a bowl with 4-8oz of capers NuNosh depending on how many people you are serving (2-4).Â
Start with a little starchy water and stir with a spatula. Continue adding starchy water until you get the perfect creamy consistency we all dream of. Season from there, just spitballing here but truffle salt (yum), balsamic glaze (oh sure), pine nuts (heck yeah), roasted garlic (stop it)…you get the idea.
