The Importance of Healthy Back to School Lunches


Your growing toddler is still growing and learning, so it is of the utmost importance that they gather the nutrients they need with balanced back to school lunches. These nutrients are used for energy on the playground, being alert in the classroom, and maintaining healthy habits.

It is encouraged that toddlers consume1000 to 1400 calories per day depending on their activity levels when going back to school. It’s also important to include a variety of foods.

Be sure to include some nutritious fruits and vegetables to keep your child active through the school day. Per day it is recommended that your toddler consumes 1 cup of each.
